Kian Pourtorab entered the world of music by playing guitar at the age of 16. After becoming a more proficient musician, he decided to pursue a full-time career in the world of music. As a composer and lyricist, he was one of the founding members of the alternative rock band Comment in 2007.
After his success with Comment band, in 2015, Pourtorab officially started to work as a solo artist in the genre of electro-pop music.
He released his first solo album titled “This Side” and after holding concerts, he started preparing his second solo album titled “Night Crawler” which has released in 2021.
